Concert Pianist

Hoang was born in Saigon and came to Melbourne with his parents as a baby. Hoang can’t recall precisely when he chose to pursue his career as a concert pianist, but his father (his first teacher), inspired him to take up the craft at just three and a half years old.
One day, Hoang visited a shopping centre with his parents and began playing on the keyboards in a music store. As luck would have it, a gentleman from Casio, heard Hoang play and introduced him to a classical piano teacher who shaped, nurtured and refined his talent.
Although living in commission housing for many years, the family managed to save to maintain the piano lessons for years.
Today, Hoang travels the world fulfilling his passion for music – a career that would have been considered more of a leisure activity than a profession in his birth country.
